Challenge
To create a site-specific artwork for a private interior, filling an existing wall frame without predefined references, medium or brief.
The challenge was to respond to space, client and context through something more integral than a decorative painting.
Solution
The solution emerged through listening and observation rather than stylistic choice.
Instead of painting, the project was conceived as a large-scale textile artwork - a contemporary tapestry - treating embroidery as a medium for visual depth, tactility and calm.
Design system
A digital visual system was developed based on abstracted floral forms inspired by baroque still life.
Composition, color fields and rhythm were translated into a structure compatible with tapestry technique, where repetition, density and materiality define the image.
Outcome
The final work became an integral part of the interior rather than an applied decoration.
The project demonstrates art direction extending beyond graphic form - from spatial intuition and conceptual translation to long-term execution and responsibility for the final object.
