Challenge
To translate a collection of poems into a visual form without reducing their emotional depth.
The task was to understand rhythm, tension and silence within the text.

Solution
An abstract visual system was developed through close reading rather than literal imagery.
The publication was conceived as a tactile object, designed end-to-end from concept to material execution, allowing non-linear, physical experience of the poems.

Design system
A modular system based on circles, repetition and negative space reflects poetic rhythm.
Color acts as an emotional temperature.

Outcome
A shared authorship between poet and designer - a visual form that understands the text rather than decorate it.
